To preserve the brilliance of the jewel, we recommend using a mild, neutral liquid soap, then rinsing thoroughly with fresh, lukewarm fresh water. Gently dry with a soft cloth. The same ritual is recommended after bathing in the sea or in a swimming pool.
Absolutely avoid direct contact with solvents, detergents, perfumes and cosmetic products, as they may damage certain types of gemstones.
We suggest protecting the jewel from drops and impacts, which may not only seriously damage the finish, but also compromise the stability of the settings, with the risk of losing the stones.
The jewel should never be worn for sports with a high risk of impact, such as surfing, water skiing and similar activities. Settings and some gemstones are not suitable for activities that involve exposure to salt water.
Temperatures above 60°C and below -10°C can be harmful to certain gem materials, therefore avoid storing the jewel in places that are excessively humid, cold or hot, and avoid cleaning it with water that is too hot, as well as prolonged stays in the SPA, Turkish bath or sauna.
In the event of impacts, and in any case three years after purchase, we recommend a thorough cleaning and a check of the stability of the settings at your trusted jeweler, or at any store in the Dolce&Gabbana network.
