To preserve the radiance of the jewel, we recommend using a mild neutral liquid soap and rinsing carefully with lukewarm fresh water. Then dry it gently with a soft cloth. The same ritual is advised after bathing in the sea or in a swimming pool.
Avoid any direct contact with solvents, detergents, perfumes and cosmetic products, as they may damage certain types of gemstones.
We recommend protecting the jewel from falls and impacts, which can not only seriously damage the finish, but also compromise the gemstone settings and lead to the loss of stones.
The jewel should never be worn while practising sports with a high risk of impact, such as surfing, water skiing and similar activities. The settings and certain gemstones are not suitable for activities involving salt water.
Temperatures above 60°C and below -10°C can be harmful to certain gem materials, so avoid storing the piece in places that are too humid, cold or hot, and avoid cleaning with very hot water, as well as wearing it in a spa, Turkish bath or sauna.
In the event of impact, and in any case three years after purchase, we recommend a complete professional cleaning and a check of the stability of the settings by your trusted jeweller or at any store in the Dolce&Gabbana network.
