Protect the jewel from falls and impacts, which can seriously damage the finish and may compromise the security of the stone settings, with the risk of losing the gems.
The jewel should never be worn for sports with a high risk of impact, such as surfing, water-skiing, and similar activities. Certain settings and some gemstones are not suitable for activities that involve exposure to salt water.
