The necklace is made up of a main chain in yellow gold from which three different strands unfold: one made with fifteen handmade black jade spheres, a "rolò" chain in white gold, and a strand made of thirty freshwater pearls. This last element has been embellished with four cross-shaped pendants, made with black sapphires in round, oval, and navette shapes, and three drop pearl pendants. An additional medal depicting the Madonna, with the logo "DOLCE&GABBANA" on the back, has been added as a terminal in the adjustment chain.
