The jewelry should never be worn for sports that involve a high risk of impact, such as surfing, water-skiing and similar activities. The settings and some gemstones are not suitable for activities in salt water.
Temperatures above 60°C and below -10°C can be harmful to certain types of gem materials, so avoid storing the piece in areas that are too humid, cold or hot, and avoid cleaning it with very hot water, as well as wearing it in a spa, Turkish bath or sauna.
