To preserve the jewel’s radiant brilliance, we recommend using a neutral liquid soap and rinsing carefully in fresh, lukewarm water. Then dry gently with a soft cloth. The same ritual is advised after bathing in the sea or in a pool.
Avoid any direct contact with solvents, detergents, perfumes and cosmetic products, as these may damage certain types of gemstones.
Protect the jewel from drops and impacts, which could seriously affect the finish and compromise the stone settings, with the risk of losing the gems.
The jewel should never be worn for sports with a high risk of impact, such as surfing or water skiing. The settings and certain gemstones are not suitable for activities involving salt water.
Temperatures above 60°C and below -10°C can be harmful to some gem materials, so avoid storing the piece in environments that are too humid, cold or hot, and avoid cleaning with excessively hot water, as well as wearing it in a SPA, steam room or sauna.
In the event of impacts, and in any case three years after purchase, we recommend a complete professional cleaning and a check of the stability of the settings by your trusted jeweler, or at any store in the Dolce&Gabbana network.
