To preserve the radiant shine of the watch and metal bracelet, it is recommended to use
mild neutral soap and rinse carefully with fresh, lukewarm water. Then dry thoroughly with a soft cloth. The same care is advised after swimming in the sea or pool.
Avoid direct contact with solvents, detergents, perfumes and cosmetic products that
may damage the case, gaskets, bracelet and/or strap.
Protect the watch from drops and impacts, which could not only seriously damage the finish, but also compromise its mechanical functions, water resistance and accuracy. After any adjustment, always press the crown back firmly against the case to prevent water or dust from entering the mechanism. The watch is water-resistant up to 3BAR/3AT M. This means it has been tested at underwater pressures equivalent to a depth of 20 meters. The watch should never be used for sports with a high risk of impact (such as surfing, water skiing, etc.). Leather straps are not suitable for activities involving water.
When the watch is wet, do not pull out the crown, as water may enter the case.
Temperatures above 60°C/140°F and below -10°C/14°F, sudden changes in pressure, density and temperature, magnetic fields and many other factors can affect the accuracy of the watch. It is therefore advisable to keep the timepiece away from objects that can generate strong magnetic fields, such as loudspeakers or electric motors. If you notice any irregularities of this kind, the watch should be taken to an authorized Dolce & Gabbana store.
