To preserve the brilliance of the jewel, we recommend using a mild, neutral liquid soap and rinsing thoroughly with fresh, lukewarm water. Then dry carefully with a soft cloth. The same procedure is advised after swimming in the sea or in a pool.
Avoid any direct contact with solvents, detergents, perfumes and cosmetic products, as they may damage certain types of gemstones.
We recommend protecting the jewel from drops and impacts which could not only seriously damage its finish, but also compromise the stability of the settings and lead to the loss of the stones.
The jewel should never be worn for sports with a high risk of impact, such as surfing, water skiing and similar activities. The settings and some gemstones are not suitable for activities involving salt water.
Temperatures above 60°C and below -10°C may be harmful to certain gem materials, so avoid storing the jewel in places that are too humid, cold or hot, and avoid cleaning it with excessively hot water, as well as wearing it in a spa, Turkish bath or sauna.
In the event of impacts, and in any case three years after purchase, we recommend a complete cleaning and a check of the stability of the settings by your trusted jeweler or at any store within the Dolce&Gabbana network.
