To preserve the brilliance of the jewel, we recommend using a mild, neutral liquid soap and rinsing carefully with fresh, lukewarm water. Then dry it gently with a soft cloth. The same routine is recommended after swimming in the sea or in a pool.
Avoid any direct contact with solvents, detergents, perfume and cosmetic products, as these may damage certain types of gemstones.
Protect the jewel from drops and impacts, which could not only seriously damage the finish, but also compromise the gemstone settings, with the risk of stones being lost.
The jewel should never be worn while practicing sports with a high risk of impact, such as surfing, water skiing and similar activities. The settings and certain gemstones are not suitable for activities in which salt water is present.
Temperatures above 60°C and below -10°C can be harmful to certain gem materials, so avoid storing the jewel in places that are excessively humid, cold or hot, and avoid cleaning it with water that is too hot, as well as wearing it in a spa, Turkish bath or sauna.
In the event of impact, and in any case three years after purchase, we recommend a thorough cleaning and a stability check of the settings, to be carried out by your trusted jeweler or at any store within the Dolce&Gabbana network.
