To preserve the brilliance of the jewel, we recommend using a mild, neutral liquid soap and rinsing thoroughly with fresh, lukewarm water. Then dry carefully with a soft cloth. The same ritual is advised after bathing in the sea or in a pool.
Avoid any direct contact with solvents, detergents, perfumes and cosmetic products, as they may damage certain types of gemstones.
Protect the jewel from drops and impacts, which can seriously compromise the finish and may also affect the security of the gemstone settings, with the risk of stones becoming lost.
The jewel should never be worn for sports with a high risk of impact, such as surfing or water skiing. The settings and some gemstones are not suitable for activities involving salt water.
Temperatures above 60°C and below -10°C may be harmful to certain gem materials, so avoid storing the piece in places that are excessively humid, cold or hot, and avoid cleaning with water that is too hot, as well as wearing it in a spa, steam bath or sauna.
In the event of impacts, and in any case three years after the date of purchase, we recommend a thorough cleaning and a check of the stability of the settings by your trusted jeweler or at any Dolce&Gabbana boutique.
