To preserve the jewel’s brilliance, we recommend using a mild liquid soap and rinsing carefully with fresh, lukewarm water. Then dry gently with a soft cloth. The same care routine is advised after swimming in the sea or in a pool.
Avoid any direct contact with solvents, detergents, perfumes, and cosmetic products, as they may damage certain types of gemstones.
Protect the jewel from drops and impacts which can not only seriously affect the finish, but may also compromise the security of the stone settings, with the risk of losing the gemstones.
The jewel should never be worn for sports where there is a high risk of impact (such as surfing, water-skiing, etc.). Settings and certain gemstones are not suitable for activities involving salt water.
Temperatures above 60°C and below -10°C can be harmful to some gem materials, so avoid storing the jewel in places that are too humid, too cold, or too hot, and avoid cleaning with water that is excessively hot, as well as wearing it in a spa, Turkish bath, or sauna.
In the event of impact and in any case three years after purchase, we recommend a complete cleaning and a check of the stability of the settings by your trusted jeweler, or at any boutique within the Dolce&Gabbana retail network.
