To preserve the brilliance of the jewel, we recommend using a gentle, neutral liquid soap and rinsing thoroughly with fresh, lukewarm water. Then dry carefully with a soft cloth. The same routine is advised after swimming in the sea or in a pool.
Avoid any direct contact with solvents, detergents, perfumes and cosmetic products, as they may damage certain types of gemstones.
Protect the jewel from drops and impacts, which could not only seriously affect the finish, but also compromise the gemstone settings and result in the loss of stones.
The jewel should never be worn while practicing sports with a high risk of impact (such as surfing, water skiing, etc.). Settings and certain gemstones are not suitable for activities involving exposure to salt water.
Temperatures above 60°C and below -10°C can be harmful to some gem materials. Avoid storing your jewel in environments that are too humid, cold or hot, and avoid cleaning it with water that is excessively hot, as well as wearing it in a spa, steam room or sauna.
In the event of impact, and in any case three years after purchase, we recommend a thorough cleaning and a check of the stability of the settings by your trusted jeweler or at any boutique within the Dolce&Gabbana retail network.
