To preserve the brilliance of the jewel, we recommend using a mild neutral liquid soap and rinsing carefully with fresh, lukewarm water. Then dry thoroughly with a soft cloth. The same care is advised after bathing in the sea or in a swimming pool.
Avoid any direct contact with solvents, detergents, perfumes and cosmetic products, as they may damage certain types of gemstones.
Protect the jewel from drops and impacts, which could not only seriously damage its finish, but also compromise the gemstone settings and lead to the loss of the stones.
The jewel should never be worn for sports with a high risk of impact (such as surfing, water skiing and similar activities). The settings and certain gemstones are not suitable for activities in salt water.
Temperatures above 60°C and below -10°C can be harmful to certain gem materials, so avoid storing the piece in environments that are excessively humid, cold or hot, and avoid cleaning with very hot water, as well as prolonged exposure in a spa, Turkish bath or sauna.
In the event of impacts, and in any case three years after purchase, we recommend a thorough cleaning and a check of the stability of the settings by your trusted jeweller, or in any boutique within the Dolce&Gabbana retail network.
