To preserve the brilliance of the jewel, we recommend using a mild liquid soap and rinsing thoroughly with fresh, lukewarm water. Then dry carefully with a soft cloth. The same care is advised after a swim in the sea or pool.
Avoid any direct contact with solvents, detergents, perfumes and cosmetic products, as they may damage certain types of gemstones.
Protect the jewel from falls and impacts, which can seriously affect its finish and may compromise the settings, causing the stones to be lost.
The jewel should never be worn for sports with a high risk of impact, such as surfing, water skiing and similar activities. The settings and certain gemstones are not suitable for activities that involve exposure to salt water.
Temperatures above 60°C and below -10°C can be harmful to some gem materials, so avoid storing the jewel in places that are excessively humid, cold or hot, and do not clean it with water that is too hot, or wear it in a spa, Turkish bath or sauna.
In the event of an impact, and in any case three years after purchase, we recommend a complete cleaning and a check of the stability of the settings by your trusted jeweler, or at any boutique within the Dolce&Gabbana network.
