To preserve the brilliance of the jewel, we recommend using a mild neutral liquid soap and rinsing thoroughly with fresh, lukewarm water. Then dry it carefully with a soft cloth. The same care is advised after swimming in the sea or in a pool.
Avoid any direct contact with solvents, detergents, perfumes, and cosmetic products, as these may damage certain types of gemstones.
We recommend protecting the jewel from drops and impacts, which could not only seriously damage its finishes, but also compromise the stability of the settings and lead to the loss of the stones.
The jewel should never be worn for sports that involve a high risk of impact, such as surfing, water skiing, and similar activities. The settings and certain gemstones are not suitable for activities in which salt water is present.
Temperatures above 60°C and below -10°C can be harmful to some types of gem materials, so avoid storing the jewel in places that are too humid, cold, or hot, and avoid cleaning it with water that is too hot, as well as wearing it in a SPA, Turkish bath, or sauna.
In the event of impacts, and in any case three years after purchase, we recommend having a thorough cleaning and a check of the stability of the settings carried out by your trusted jeweler or at any store within the Dolce&Gabbana network.
