To preserve the brilliance of your jewel, we recommend using a gentle neutral liquid soap, then rinsing thoroughly with fresh, lukewarm water. Dry carefully with a soft cloth. The same care is advised after bathing in the sea or in a swimming pool.
Avoid any direct contact with solvents, detergents, perfume and cosmetic products, as these may damage certain types of gemstones.
We recommend protecting the jewel from drops and impacts, which can not only seriously affect its finish, but also compromise the stability of the settings, with the risk of losing the stones.
The jewel should never be worn while practising sports with a high risk of impact, such as surfing, water skiing and similar activities. Certain settings and gemstones are not suitable for use in salt water.
Temperatures above 60°C and below -10°C can be harmful to some gem materials, so avoid storing the jewel in places that are excessively humid, cold or hot, and avoid cleaning it with water that is too hot, as well as wearing it in a spa, Turkish bath or sauna.
In the event of impacts, and in any case three years after purchase, we recommend a complete cleaning and a check of the stability of the settings by your trusted jeweler, or at any boutique in the Dolce&Gabbana retail network.
