To preserve the brilliance of the jewel, we recommend using a mild neutral liquid soap and rinsing thoroughly with fresh, lukewarm water. Then gently dry with a soft cloth. The same ritual is advised after a swim in the sea or in the pool.
Avoid any direct contact with solvents, detergents, perfume and cosmetic products, as they may damage certain types of gemstones.
We recommend protecting the jewel from falls and impacts which, in addition to potentially damaging the finish, could compromise the stability of the settings and lead to the loss of the stones.
The jewel should never be worn during sports with a high risk of impact (such as surfing, water skiing, etc.). The settings and some gemstones are not suitable for activities involving salt water.
Temperatures above 60°C and below -10°C can be harmful to certain gem materials, so avoid storing the jewel in places that are too humid, too cold or too hot, and avoid cleaning with water that is too hot, as well as prolonged exposure in a spa, steam room or sauna.
In the event of impact, and in any case three years after purchase, we recommend a thorough cleaning and a check of the stability of the settings by your trusted jeweler, or at any store in the Dolce&Gabbana retail network.
