To preserve the brilliance of the jewel, we recommend using a mild, neutral liquid soap, then rinsing carefully with fresh, lukewarm water. Dry gently with a soft cloth. The same ritual is advised after a swim in the sea or in the pool.
Avoid any direct contact with solvents, detergents, perfumes, and cosmetic products, as they may damage certain types of gemstones.
We recommend protecting the jewel from falls and impacts, which could not only seriously damage the finish, but also compromise the stability of the settings, with a consequent risk of losing the stones.
The jewel should never be worn while practicing sports with a high risk of impact, such as surfing, water skiing, and similar activities. Certain settings and some gemstones are not suitable for activities that involve contact with salt water.
Temperatures above 60°C and below -10°C can be harmful to certain gem materials, so avoid storing the jewel in places that are too humid, too cold, or too hot, and avoid cleaning it with water that is excessively hot, as well as wearing it in a spa, Turkish bath, or sauna.
In the event of impacts, and in any case three years after purchase, we recommend a complete cleaning and a check of the stability of the settings by your trusted jeweler, or at any store within the Dolce&Gabbana retail network.
