To preserve the brilliance of the watch and metal bracelet, we recommend using
mild soap and rinsing thoroughly with fresh, lukewarm water. Then dry it with a soft cloth. The same process is advised after swimming in the sea or in a pool.
Avoid direct contact with solvents, detergents, perfumes and cosmetic products that
could damage the case, seals, bracelet and/or strap.
Protect the watch from drops and impacts, as these may not only seriously damage the finish, but also compromise its mechanical functions, water resistance and accuracy. After making any adjustments, always push the crown firmly back against the case to prevent water or dust from entering the movement. The watch is water resistant up to 3BAR/3AT M. This means it has been tested at underwater pressure equivalent to a depth of 20 meters. The watch should never be used for sports with a high risk of impact (such as surfing, water skiing, etc.). Leather straps are not suitable for activities involving water.
When the watch is wet, do not pull out the crown, as water may enter the case.
Temperatures above 60°C/140°F and below -10°C/14°F, sudden changes in pressure, density and temperature, magnetic fields and many other factors can affect the accuracy of the watch, so it is advisable to avoid bringing the watch close to objects that can generate strong magnetic fields, such as loudspeakers or electric motors. If you notice any irregularities of this kind, the watch should be taken to an authorized Dolce & Gabbana store.
