To preserve the lustre of the watch and metal bracelet, use
mild soap and rinse thoroughly with fresh, lukewarm water. Then dry carefully with a soft cloth. The same routine is recommended after a swim in the sea or in the pool.
Avoid direct contact with solvents, detergents, perfume and cosmetic products that
could damage the case, gaskets, bracelet and/or strap.
Protect the watch from drops and impacts, which can not only seriously damage the finishes, but may also compromise the mechanical functions, water resistance and accuracy. After making any adjustments, always press the crown back firmly against the case to prevent water or dust from entering the movement. The watch is water resistant to 3BAR/3AT M. This means it has been tested at underwater pressures equivalent to a depth of 20 meters. The watch should never be used for sports with a high risk of impact (such as surfing, water skiing and similar activities). Leather straps are not suitable for activities involving water.
When the watch is wet, do not pull out the crown because water could penetrate inside the case.
Temperatures above 60°C/140°F and below -10°C/14°F, sudden changes in pressure, density and temperature, magnetic fields and many other factors can affect the accuracy of the watch. It is therefore advisable to avoid bringing the watch close to objects that may generate strong magnetic fields, such as loudspeakers or electric motors. If you notice any irregularities of this kind, the watch must be taken to an authorized Dolce & Gabbana store.
