To preserve the jewel’s brilliance, we recommend using a mild, neutral liquid soap and rinsing thoroughly with fresh, lukewarm water. Then dry carefully with a soft cloth. The same care is advised after swimming in the sea or in a pool.
Avoid any direct contact with solvents, detergents, perfumes, and cosmetic products, as they may damage certain types of gemstones.
Protect the jewel from drops and impacts that could seriously affect the finish and compromise the gemstone settings, with the risk of losing the stones.
The jewel should never be worn while practicing sports with a high risk of impact, such as surfing, water skiing, and similar activities. Settings and certain gemstones are not suitable for activities involving salt water.
Temperatures above 60°C and below -10°C can be harmful to some gem materials, so avoid storing the jewel in places that are too humid, too cold, or too hot, and avoid cleaning with water that is too hot, as well as exposure to SPA facilities, steam baths, and saunas.
In the event of impact, and in any case three years after purchase, we recommend a thorough cleaning and a check of the stability of the settings at your trusted jeweler or at any store in the Dolce&Gabbana network.
