To preserve the jewel’s brilliance, we recommend using a mild liquid soap and rinsing thoroughly with fresh, lukewarm water. Dry carefully with a soft cloth. The same care routine is advised after swimming in the sea or in a pool.
Avoid direct contact with solvents, detergents, perfumes, and cosmetic products, as they may damage certain types of gemstones.
Protect the jewel from drops and impacts that could not only seriously affect its finish, but also compromise the stone settings, with the risk of gemstones coming loose and being lost.
The jewel should never be worn during sports that involve a high risk of impact, such as surfing, water skiing, and similar activities. Certain settings and gemstones are not suitable for activities in which there is exposure to salt water.
Temperatures above 60°C and below -10°C can be harmful to some gem materials, so avoid storing the jewel in environments that are excessively humid, cold, or hot, and avoid cleaning with very hot water, as well as wearing it in spas, steam baths, or saunas.
In the event of impact, and in any case three years after purchase, we recommend a thorough cleaning and a check of the stability of the settings by your trusted jeweler, or at any boutique within the Dolce&Gabbana retail network.
