To preserve the brilliance of the jewel, we recommend using a mild neutral liquid soap, then rinsing thoroughly with fresh, lukewarm water. Gently dry with a soft cloth. The same care routine is advised after bathing in the sea or in a swimming pool.
Avoid all direct contact with solvents, detergents, perfumes and cosmetic products, as they may damage certain types of gemstones.
Protect the jewel from drops and impacts, which may not only seriously damage its finish, but also compromise the stability of the gemstone settings and cause stones to be lost.
The jewel should never be worn for sports with a high risk of impact, such as surfing, water skiing and similar activities. The settings and certain gemstones are not suitable for activities involving exposure to salt water.
Temperatures above 60°C and below -10°C can be harmful to certain types of gem materials, so avoid storing the piece in places that are excessively humid, cold or hot, and avoid cleaning it with very hot water, as well as wearing it in a spa, Turkish bath or sauna.
If the jewel suffers an impact, and in any case after three years from the date of purchase, we recommend a thorough cleaning and a check of the stability of the settings by your trusted jeweler or at any store within the Dolce&Gabbana network.
