To preserve the brilliance of your jewel, we recommend using a mild, neutral liquid soap and rinsing thoroughly with fresh, lukewarm water. Then dry carefully with a soft cloth. The same procedure is advised after bathing in the sea or in a swimming pool.
Avoid any direct contact with solvents, detergents, perfumes and cosmetic products, as these may damage certain types of gemstones.
We recommend protecting the jewel from drops and impacts, which may not only seriously damage its finish, but also compromise the gemstone settings and lead to the loss of the stones.
The jewel should never be worn while practicing sports with a high risk of impact (such as surfing, water skiing and similar activities). The settings and certain gemstones are not suitable for activities involving exposure to salt water.
Temperatures above 60°C and below -10°C can be harmful to certain gem materials, so avoid storing the jewel in places that are excessively humid, cold or hot, and avoid cleaning it with water that is too hot, as well as wearing it in a SPA, Turkish bath or sauna.
In the event of impacts, and in any case three years after purchase, we recommend a complete professional cleaning and a check of the stability of the settings by your trusted jeweler or at any store within the Dolce&Gabbana retail network.
