To preserve the brilliance of the jewel, we recommend using a mild, neutral liquid soap, then rinsing thoroughly with fresh, lukewarm water. Dry carefully with a soft cloth. The same procedure is recommended after swimming in the sea or in a pool.
Avoid any direct contact with solvents, detergents, perfumes and cosmetic products, as they may damage certain types of gemstones.
We advise protecting the jewel from drops and impacts, which may not only seriously damage the finishes, but also compromise the stability of the settings and lead to the loss of the stones.
The jewel should never be worn for sports where there is a high risk of impact, such as surfing, water skiing and similar activities. The settings and certain gemstones are not suitable for activities involving salt water.
Temperatures above 60°C and below -10°C can be harmful to some types of gem materials, so avoid storing the jewel in places that are too humid, cold or hot, and avoid cleaning it with water that is excessively hot, as well as wearing it in a SPA, Turkish bath or sauna.
In the event of impact, and in any case three years after purchase, we recommend a complete cleaning and a check of the stability of the settings by your trusted jeweler or at any store in the Dolce&Gabbana network.
