To preserve the brilliance of the jewel, we recommend using a mild neutral liquid soap, then rinsing carefully with fresh lukewarm water. Gently dry with a soft cloth. Repeat the same routine after bathing in the sea or in a swimming pool.
Avoid direct contact with solvents, detergents, perfume and cosmetic products, which may damage certain types of gemstones.
We recommend protecting the jewel from drops and impacts, which may not only seriously damage the finishes but also compromise the gemstone settings, with a potential risk of losing the stones.
The jewel should never be worn for sports that involve a high risk of impact, such as surfing, water skiing and similar activities. The settings and some gemstones are not suitable for activities in which salt water is present.
Temperatures above 60°C and below -10°C can be harmful to certain types of gem materials, so avoid storing the jewel in places that are excessively humid, cold or hot, and avoid cleaning it with very hot water, as well as wearing it in a spa, Turkish bath or sauna.
In the event of impact, and in any case three years after purchase, we recommend a thorough cleaning and a check of the stability of the settings by your trusted jeweler, or at any store within the Dolce&Gabbana network.
