To preserve the brilliance of the jewel, we recommend using a mild liquid soap and rinsing thoroughly with fresh, lukewarm water. Then dry carefully with a soft cloth. The same care routine is advised after swimming in the sea or in a pool.
Avoid any direct contact with solvents, detergents, perfumes and cosmetic products, as these may damage certain types of gemstones.
Protect the jewel from drops and impacts, which can seriously compromise the finish and may also affect the stability of the settings, resulting in the possible loss of the stones.
The jewel should never be worn for sports with a high risk of impact, such as surfing, water skiing and similar activities. The settings and some gemstones are not suitable for activities involving exposure to salt water.
Temperatures above 60°C and below -10°C can be harmful to certain gem materials, so avoid storing the jewel in places that are excessively humid, cold or hot, and do not clean it with water that is too hot. It should also not be worn in a SPA, Turkish bath or sauna.
In the event of impacts, and in any case three years after purchase, we recommend a full cleaning and a professional inspection of the stability of the settings by your trusted jeweler or at any store in the Dolce&Gabbana network.
