POST-SALE WATCH MAINTENANCE
To maintain the brilliance of the watch and metal bracelet, we recommend using mild soap and rinsing thoroughly with warm water. Dry with a soft cloth. We recommend this being done also after a swim in the sea or pool.
It is advisable to avoid direct contact with solvents, detergents, perfumes and cosmetic products, which might damage the case, seals, bracelet and/or strap.
It is advisable to protect the watch from falls and shocks, which could not only seriously damage the finish, but might affect the mechanical functions also, as well as the water resistance and accuracy of the watch. After adjustments, it is recommended to always push the crown firmly against the case to prevent water or dust from entering the mechanism.
The watch is water resistant up to 3?BAR / 3?ATM. This means it has been tested under underwater pressure equivalent to a depth of 20 meters. The watch should never be used for sports involving a high risk of impact (such as surfing, water skiing, etc.). Leather straps are not suitable for activities involving water. When the watch is wet, do not pull out the crown, as water could enter the case.
Temperatures above 60°C/140°F and below -10°C/14°F , sudden changes in pressure, density and temperature, magnetic fields, and many other factors can affect the accuracy of the watch, we recommended to avoid placing the watch next to objects which could generate strong magnetic fields, such as loudspeakers and electric motors. If you note any irregularities in operation, the watch should be taken to an authorised Dolce&Gabbana retailer.
