Holiday Season Makeup

A step by step guide

Looking for makeup with an intense yet iridescent colour palette perfect for those holiday parties? Then the Dolce&Gabbana Beauty Baroque Night Out Makeup Collection is just what you need. Here’s how to wear it.

The collection’s colour palette is inspired by baroque, a style and a theme embedded in Dolce&Gabbana’s identity. With dazzling reds, iridescent whites and glittering black shades, create magnetic looks for the holiday season with Baroque Night Out Make Up Collection.

The eyes play a central role in the Baroque Night Out Look, expressing the excitement and intrigue felt when preparing for a long-awaited party. The new Perfect Mono Eyeshadow in Baroque Black is a glittering black shade which brings a daring intensity to the eyes, whilst a stroke of the new Glam Liner in Baroque Nude creates a stark contrast.

Celebrate the glamour of the season in dazzling metallics with the Glam Liner in Baroque Gold, Baroque Silver or Baroque Bronze. The Perfect Mono Eyeshadow in Baroque White and Baroque Beige provide a subtle, softer and natural effect, whilst the Perfect Mono Eyeshadow in Baroque Rust ignites the eyes with passion and creates a piercing gaze.

The new Shine Lipstick in Baroque Red is a translucent red with iridescent gold facets, providing a sparkling seasonal twist on traditional hues. The Shine Lipstick in Baroque Black offers a new way to wear black, with its sheer finish emphasising the natural colour of the lips. For a more subtle lip with a soft glow, there is the Shine Lipstick in Baroque Gold.

The Nail Lacquer in Stromboli is a glittering black shade ideal for a baroque party look, while the Nail Lacquer in Scarlett is a classic red shade that reflects the passion, joy and festiveness of the season.

The must-have product from the collection is the collectable, limited edition Contour Duo, which combines the Bronzer in Desert and the Illuminator in Luna in one palette. Mix the two products to sculpt and contour the face and sparkle in the evening’s soft moonlight. The new Creamy Illuminator in Rosa Barocca provides an effortlessly luminous, fresh and glowing effect.

Model Vittoria Ceretti captures the essence of this dramatic look, created by International Make Up Artist Tom Pécheux in an alluring portrait captured by Tom Munro.

Want to imitate her look for the Holiday Parties coming up? Here’s a step by step guide.

Face: Create the perfect base by applying Perfect Luminous Creamy Foundation with the Foundation Brush.   Mix the Illuminator and Bronzer from Contour Duo to sculpt and contour the face, gradually building colour on the temples, along the sides of the nose, the chin and under the cheekbones. Add holiday radiance by applying the limited edition Creamy Illuminator in Rosa Barocca 70 along the top of the cheekbones, on the arch of the eyebrows, on the bridge of the nose and on the Cupid’s bow.

Eyes: Bring a daring intensity to the eyes using Perfect Mono Eyeshadow in Baroque Black 135 all over the eyelid and define the upper lash line with a stroke of Glam Liner in Baroque Bronze 8, beginning at the outer edge and working inwards. Give yourself a metallic glow using Glam Liner in Baroque Gold 6 in the inner corner of the eyes and in the center of the upper lash line. Create defined brows with The Brow Liner in Stromboli 4, using the grooming brush to blend the colour through the brows.

Lips: Apply Shine Lipstick in Baroque Red 123 for a sheer glittering gold effect on the lips. Define the contour and enhance the natural shape of the lips with The Lipliner in Ruby 3.

Nails: Complete your party look with The Nail Lacquer in Stromboli 835.
