BAROQUE ROMANTICISM

Inspiration

The starting point of the Dolce&Gabbana Fall Winter 2013 women’s collection is the tradition of Sicilian Baroque, which has evolved in volumes and processes, experimenting in new cuts and decorations: golden embroideries that recall Baroque mirrors and frames or embroideries made of small points inspired by dining room tapestries; prints of cherubs and angels that appear to have come out of a painting.

Cape

One of the most important items of the collection, developed in different proportions.

Colours

White, black, gold, nude and beige.

Accessories

They play a key role, from the combination of the use of lace with stones and Capodimonte-style flowers. Earrings with cherubs. Headband and small combs for the hair, enriched with stones and embroideries. Pumps enriched by gaiters in different materials, ankle boots and knee-high lace-ups. Miss Sicily and Dolce Bags in various shapes and fabrics.

Finale

Black lace dresses in various shapes enhanced by golden embroideries.

Soundtrack

Classic songs of the Neapolitan tradition interpreted by Luciano Pavarotti.
